Existing clients - E-mail us and we will set up a user name and password, including last year's data - for use with the Tax Notebook

Now, exclusively with the firm of Mark T. Serbinski , Certified Public Accountants, you can access our easy-to-use Tax Notebook, an intuitive and secure on line program that guides you through a series of questions that will assist us in compiling your tax return data. Our Tax Notebook is smart enough to only ask for the information that applies to you, which means you'll save time and effort compared to completing our traditional Client Organizer. When you are finished with Tax Notebook, we will automatically download your file. Then just send us your paper income and expense forms.....you can even print a report for your records.

Welcome to our new Tax Notebook project. By clicking on the link on this page, you will be able to access your private Tax Notebook file, containing last years data for your information. Please send us an email and we will set up your user name and password. Then just complete the intuitive on line program, and we will automatically download your information when complete. Then just send or fax us your income and expense forms for verification purposes.

We will use the information you provide us with in strict confidence, to prepare your tax returns. If, after examination of your entries, we find that we need more information, we will contact you. If in doubt, please ensure that you mention any concerns or questions you have, particularly in cross border taxation issues, in the comments section at the end of the file. We will address each of your concerns in planning and preparing your tax returns.

For new clients:

Please enter the information on a new, blank notebook. Please ensure that you provide us with original income and expense slips by fax or mail, when you have your completed Tax Notebook file.

For existing clients:

We can provide you on line access to your private Tax Notebook data file prepared from your prior year income tax return prepared by us. Please open the pre-prepared file when prompted to do so on startup, and modify changed areas, and add the current years' information. If you have not requested access to your prior year Tax Notebook file, and would like to access your data on Tax Notebook, please e-mail us. (If you used Tax Notebook last year, we have already sent you notification of your user name and password):

Please remember, that our Tax Notebook is provided to you only to assist you in organizing your information and providing us with the material we will need to prepare your income tax returns.  IF YOU WOULD PREFER NOT TO COMPLETE THE NOTEBOOK, YOU MAY PROVIDE US WITH ORIGINAL INCOME AND EXPENSE DOCUMENTS INSTEAD. Completion of our Tax Notebook is not a mandatory part of the return preparation process, but is intended only to assist you in gathering the correct information for us.

The Mark T. Serbinski , CPA Tax Notebook is designed to minimize your time and effort in gathering your tax information by focusing only on the items that are relevant to your personal tax situation. Our Tax Notebook will open on the Personal Information section tab. Based on last year's information, if available, and your answers to questions on this tab, other Personal Information topic tabs will appear across the top, and additional section tabs, such as Employment and Deductions, will appear to the right. 

You may move through the tabs in any sequence. We have also provided you with a Calculator and Calendar available at any time. If you want to see the percentage of the Tax Notebook that you have completed, select Check Progress from the Options menu.
